The Mayport Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) has agreed to support two military related programs in the Jacksonville Florida area: the Jacksonville Area USO and various ROTC/JROTC units. 

Our chapter has over the past few years provided support and volunteers for the USO Welcome Center at the Jacksonville International Airport.  Thanks to a local vendor, Lau Vending, our chapter has received and delivered snacks and soft drinks for the soldiers and sailors that stop in the airport center.  With a USO center in the Mayport area our chapter has stepped up our commitment to assist in their program offerings.  Click the USO tab above for more details.

There are approximately 15 ROTC/JROTC units in Jacksonville and surrounding towns that are awarded achievement recognition.  The chapter provides a ceremonial sword to the top graduate of the winter graduation of the Navy ROTC program at Jacksonville University.  Click the ROTC/JROTC tab above for more details.
